When creating our delicate sensitive skin range we wanted to incorporate skin ingredients that not only help calm and soothe the skin, but that will help it look and feel incredible from the first time you use it. We needed to include skin loving ingredients, so Jojoba, coconut and apricot oils were at the forefront of our thinking.
Our Jojoba Milk Sensitive Skin Gentle Face and Body Lotion is designed as a light moisturiser that can be used as an anti ageing moisturiser on both the face and body, incorporating the natural healing power of jojoba oil and butter with coconut oil and aloe vera into a super soft blend that is both protecting for the skin, and extra calming for sensitive and delicate skin types. Our sensitive skin lotion includes all the amazing anti ageing ingredients you would expect to find in a top of the range moisturiser, but without the irritation.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
Jojoba oil, wax and butter - Jojoba is the only oil that closely resembles human sebum (an oily substance naturally produced by the oil glands below the skin surface) so it is perfect to help balance the condition of the skin, naturally.
Coconut oil - Naturally antibacterial and antifungal, coconut oil is an excellent moisturiser as it can penetrate skin better than other oils, leaving skin soft and healthy.
Organic Aloe Vera Leaf Extract - Calms and protects the skin, whilst boosting natural moisture and vitality.
Oatmeal - Oatmeal acts as a natural moisturiser by removing the dead skin cells, revealing a natural glow to skin. It contains beta-glucan that forms a fine film on your skin as well as penetrates deep into the skin to provide much needed deep moisturising to your skin. It enhances wound healing and shallow abrasions and improves collagen deposition and activation of immune cells within the skin.
Rice Flour - Rice contains sun-protecting agents like ferulic acid and allantoin, which convert it into a good natural sunscreen. Being a good anti-inflammatory agent, rice powder also soothes sunburns and prevents the skin from sun tan.
Calendula flower extract - Calendula helps to keep the skin healthy and youthful looking. Researchers think this is because of the natural antioxidants in calendula that have a natural protective property.
Organic Cucumber extract - Cucumber extract is a superfood for skin.The juice is composed largely of proteins, lipids, Vitamin C, and a variety of minerals, and possesses moisturising and emollient properties. It also has an astringent effect, and can soothe and relieve puffy skin.
Borage Seed oil - As Borage Oil has such high levels of GLA, it has incredible hydrating benefits for skin, perfect for sensitive skin issues.
Plant Keratin from Corn and soy proteins - AC Plant Keratin provides lasting benefits and nourishment to the skin. This is a plant-based alternative to animal keratin, made by blending amino acids from plants. AC Plant Keratin can penetrate through the epidermis, which not only improves skin moisture, giving skin a soft, supple and healthy appearance, but helps to maintain the skin's elasticity and reduce several signs of ageing including fine lines and wrinkles.
Hyaluronic Acid - Being able to Hold 1000 times its own weight in water, Hyaluronic acid is the number one ingredient when it comes to anti ageing.
Vitamin E - Vitamin E oil works to block free radicals from the body, which play a large part in the ageing process. If we can fight off free radicals, then we can reduce wrinkles and keep the skin youthful-looking. It has antioxidant properties that everyone's skin needs.
Allantoin - Allantoin helps to soften and protect while actively soothing skin. It also stimulates cell regeneration promoting healthy skin. It comes from an extract from the root of the comfrey plant and is a soothing, non-irritating ingredient that has the ability to help heal the skin and stimulate the growth of healthy tissue. Perfect for sensitive skin, allantoin is a wonderful anti ageing ingredient that aids the absorption of ingredients into the skin.
