When creating our Texture Balance range, we turned to the Orient for inspiration. Over the last couple of years, milk protein skincare products have been used in China and Japan to reveal the most soft, polished and healthy looking skin imaginable. We looked at the ingredients they include in their milk products and developed a protein rich range that contains milk proteins from plant, goat and cow sources, including lactic acid and fruit acids to gently exfoliate the skin.

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Hyaluronic Acid - Being able to Hold 1000 times its own weight in water, Hyaluronic acid is the number one ingredient when it comes to anti ageing.
Vitamin E - Vitamin E oil works to block free radicals from the body, which play a large part in the ageing process. If we can fight off free radicals, then we can reduce wrinkles and keep the skin youthful-looking. It has antioxidant properties that everyone's skin needs.
Allantoin - Allantoin helps to soften and protect while actively soothing skin. It also stimulates cell regeneration promoting healthy skin. It comes from an extract from the root of the comfrey plant and is a soothing, non-irritating ingredient that has the ability to help heal the skin and stimulate the growth of healthy tissue.
Avocado (persea gratissima) - One of the most important avocado benefits for skin is its ability to soothe dry and itchy skin. The oil is easily absorbed by the skin and can act as an excellent moisturiser or a skin care agent. Avocado oil can be used as a natural treatment for a multiplicity of skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis which is why we love it so much. The oil hastens the healing of wounds and burns in addition to relieving and healing the rash caused by all kinds of skin irritation.
Buttermilk - A great source of lactic acid, riboflavin and vitamin B12, buttermilk is high in lactic acid content and effective as an alpha hydroxy acid. Acting as a natural exfoliant it helps skin to appear younger and more refreshed. Natural and non-irritating, suitable for sensitive and mature skin types.
Goat's milk - Packed with vitamins A, B6, B12 and E, goats milk is a wonderful natural emollient. It contains 20% fat and 21% protein. Due it its high capric, caprylic and caproic acid content, Goat's milk makes an effective alpha hydroxy acid, acting as a natural exfoliant and helping skin to appear younger and more refreshed.
Coconut milk - Coconut milk behaves much the same as buttermilk powder, creating a luxurious milky texture and appearance.
Kaolin Clay - Reduces Oil and evens skin texture. Purifies Pores & Detoxes Skin. Cleanses Skin. Good for Irritated Skin. Soothes Sensitive Skin. Treats Acne.
Natural Yoghurt - High in protein, calcium, riboflavin and vitamin B12. Low in fat and contains high levels of natural AHA fruit acids to help boost skins complexion and radiance.
Oatmeal - Moisturises naturally, Oatmeal is perfect for relieving dryness and inflammation, including rashes, and eczema prone skin.
Bilberry fruit extract - Bilberry fruit contains organic chemicals known as anthocyanosides, plant pigments with excellent antioxidant properties that help to prevent or reverse damage to cells caused by free radicals.
Vanilla extract - Creates a smooth appearance to skin. Naturally anti ageing and skin boosting.
Lactic acid - Lactic acid is one of the most popular alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) in skin care today. It is a powerful ingredient that helps reduce acne breakouts and the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of ageing.
